Unleash the Celebration Event
Day 4 – Saturday, September 16
7 p.m. – midnight
Telus Convention Centre
Join us on Saturday, September 16 to Unleash the Celebration at our Red and White event to close the conference!
A night of food, drinks, demonstrations and dancing will finalize our four days of learning, listening and networking. Experience six exhibits that embrace play and learning with your fellow conference delegates, discover the science behind being human, explore your creative side, investigate Alberta’s unique geology and train your brain at an outdoor adventure space all while dressed in the colours of Canada.
There are two ways to purchase your ticket to Unleash the Celebration Event:
- Purchase a ticket as part of your conference registration.
- There will be a limited amount of tickets available for purchase onsite at the conference.
Each day during the conference, there will be a daily destination. Just sign-up at the conference and go with a local volunteer and other conference families. Destinations include Heritage Park, Southland Leisure Centre and Nose Hill Park.
These trips will be informal and quite inexpensive. Please note that you will need to pay your own way (public transportation, admission, food, etc.).
Each conference day, there will also be free play events downtown, and a huge Play Event finale. The IPA conference is at the same time as Beakerhead, a celebration of arts, sciences, and engineering.
